The Amsterdam City Doughnut and how it is being used as a transformative tool.

Senior researcher Department Research, Information and Statistics Municipality of Amsterdam

As a senior researcher working on the monitor circular economy (CE) for the Municipality of Amsterdam. For the first version of the CE monitor worked on the doughnut economics social foundation with the Brede Welvaartsindex of the municipality of Amsterdam as basis. Research experience on various socio-economic topics such as developing a vulnerability measure (kwetsbaarheidsmaat) for the municipality, calculating the socio-economic status at municipal level, migration monitoring but also studying the relation between labor supply (education) and labor demand.
In the past worked at the Central Office for Statistics Netherlands and obtained a PhD at the Wageningen University Department of Management Studies with the subject: In-house and network-oriented organizational firm capabilities which affect innovation performance in the research project Networking and governance strategies in agricultural sustainability innovation networks.
