About Rebecca: Program Manager, Biomimicry Global Design Challenge Rebecca is in charge of all things Global Design Challenge. Prior to joining the Biomimicry Institute in 2016, Rebecca’s background is a mixed bag of keeping bees, coaching youth bike teams, working on tropical mangrove reforestation projects, and dirtbagging around the western US and Latin America. She spends much of her freetime mountain biking, backcountry snowboarding, rock climbing, and experimenting in the kitchen. Rebecca has a BS in environmental policy and business from Champlain College, where she spent her undergraduate career working as the college’s Sustainability Liaison. |
